Balance should be seen in the symbol of the scale, on the sign of Libra. Balance keeps the whole universe in order. The laws of balance are to be accepted and understood, for disregarding them, results in ultimate and hard failure.

Balance, as a virtue, is closely connected with harmony and justice. However, each level of these three virtues does reflect a different viewpoint of the same principle.

While Justice is correlated for example with many higher notions, balance describes a more simplified view of what we call “the equal distance between two points”, or the “middle point”.

Through understanding of the middle point and even distribution, the Weighting Scales of Libra will enter the perfect Balance.

One must stand in the Balance, if they want to be in accordance with the laws of the Universe. Then, the gates of understanding will open up, as the internal balance will manifest itself outward.
